The Armoured Girl series is an exercise in totemic human / animal capture and their resulting assemblages. Using Midjourney, the generative AI, I worked with Grace Jones and Benjamin Clementine as muses. They were coupled with ideas of armour in the form of leopards, pythons, Iris van Herpen, Issey Miyake, and samurais of the Heian Period.
