Topics range from the status of gender politics to geopolitics to future robotics. Hosted by ETH Zurich&#8217;s head of Foresight, Chris Luebkemann, the conversation typically lasts an hour, and engages two experts\u2014one from the ETH cohort, and the other (usually a teleprescence) an international thought leader from their field. My part is to recap and summarize for the ETH Ambassadors&#8217; Blog (where I also act as an editor to the weekly guest bloggers). <br>Highlights so far include <em><a href=\"https:\/\/ethambassadors.ethz.ch\/2022\/02\/10\/the-middle-ages-again-a-patchwork-perspective\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A Patchwork Perspective <\/a> <\/em>with Parag Khanna and Myriam Dunn Cavelty  and <a href=\"https:\/\/ethambassadors.ethz.ch\/2022\/03\/03\/the-soft-revolution-designing-the-next-generation-of-robots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The <\/em><\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/ethambassadors.ethz.ch\/2022\/03\/03\/the-soft-revolution-designing-the-next-generation-of-robots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Soft Revolution<\/a> <\/em>with ETH&#8217;s Robert Katzchmann and Daniela Rus of MIT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m also rETHinking the future\u2014or at least helping to illustrate it!<br>For th<a href=\"https:\/\/ethz.ch\/en\/the-eth-zurich\/global\/eth-global-news-events\/2021\/12\/rethinking-living-exhibition.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">e ETH Rethinking the Future Living Room<\/a> at the 2022 World Economic Forum in Davos, I created three teaser videos for the featured projects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The White Tower<br><\/strong>A small town in the Grisons region of Switzerland gets culturally revitalized by a 3D printed architectural edifice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The White Tower\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/690408778?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>No1s1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No1s1 is the world&#8217;s first autonomous house.
